Everyone knows a couple like Jack and Grace. He has looks and wealth; she has charm and elegance. He’s a dedicated attorney who has never lost a case; she is a flawless homemaker, a masterful gardener and cook, and dotes on her disabled younger sister. Though they are still newlyweds, they seem to have it all. You might not want to like them, but you do. You’re hopelessly charmed by the ease and comfort of their home, by the graciousness of the dinner parties they throw. You’d like to get to know Grace better.

But it’s difficult, because you realize Jack and Grace are inseparable.

Some might call this true love. Others might wonder why Grace never answers the phone. Or why she can never meet for coffee, even though she doesn’t work. How she can cook such elaborate meals but remain so slim. Or why she never seems to take anything with her when she leaves the house, not even a pen. Or why there are such high-security metal shutters on all the downstairs windows.

Some might wonder what’s really going on once the dinner party is over, and the front door has closed.

From bestselling author B. A. Paris comes the gripping thriller and international phenomenon Behind Closed Doors.

As the author’s first book, this is good but not great. The book has a great story line but we didn’t have enough to grasp onto when it came to the characters. They were one dimensional and sleepy. I like to get caught in a book where all of my senses are being used but it wasn’t like that here. The story was being told to us without feeling like I was in it. I will say that the book flew though. I munched through it in two nights which was nice. I may try one more Paris book before I decide whether I will continue with this author.

I don’t usually read books from the same authors, but instead read books by their plot line. B.A. Paris is a genius!! This book is so realistic and it brings chills down your spine because you wonder how much this stuff happens in real life right behind your eyes. AMAZING READ

Wish I could have those hours back. It’s not that the author is a poor writer, but the silly story and unsympathetic characters just completely distract from any enjoyment.

Very well written and interesting book. Finished it in a day and a half. You become very emotionally attached to the heroine and worry about her a lot. Love it!!!

I didn't want this book to end. But I wish there was a sequel to know what happened with Grace and Jacks death and Millie and everything else. Overall a great first book for B.A. Paris
